I know it has been awhile since I have posted anything. But the reason is I have created another blog devoted to my sewing and creations made in my home studio.

I will still have this blog which is more about fashion and trends happening in the world. My new blog is about my sewing projects and how I do everything.

Awsome New Band-The Roofer's Union

Hello Everyone!

Today I wanted to introduce this awesome new band called The Roofer's Union.

This band is made up of college students in New York City. One of band members being my brother.
So Today I am reaching out to you all about voting for them in the contest.

The Contest is JanSport Battle of the Bands 2014.

The top 10 bands will be finalist and be reviewed by JanSport.


From there they can go to Austen and play at the "Sonicbids Official SXSW Party".

Here is all you have to do click here and vote. It is really easy.
You can vote once per day.It would be awesome if you can vote :)

Once voting you can also see some on the other bands who have entered the competition too. I have listed the link below so that if there are others questions you have about the safety of voting, all if your questions will be on the website.

Hello everyone,

I want to take the time today to introduce you to my Pinterest.

I have had my Pinterest for several years now, and it occurred to me that I have not introduced you to it.
I have become quite picky with the images that I chose to use for my Pinterest, picking the most interesting photography.

I have seven boards on Pinterest showing you how I see or enjoy different concepts.
Below I wanted to give you a little introduction to each board that I have created and why. With each board, will be images showing you the concept behind the boards.

Here is my first board labeled la mode, which means clothing in french.

This board is very classy. It presents it self with clothing off the streets, to what is trending.

This board will change with the season, always being up to date.

Also "la mode" board does not just have clothing ideas but as well as accessories and shoes.

This is my recently new board that I have created. This is a board that inspires me with fashion and photography inspiration.

Lately, people have enjoyed this board a lot by following me.

Most of the photographs that have been taken are ideas that I could potentially think about for my self.

This is my couture board. This is not a board that is for everyone.

It displays more of a runway show than street fashion and not everyone enjoys it.

Though this board is great to see what designers are presenting during the different seasons.

This is one of my more fun and lovely boards to pin to.

This is called creatures. The photographs are of different animals and creatures photographed in interesting ways.

It is really fun to scroll through and see peoples pet photography or even a animasl in the wild.

A home is a board that inspires me for the future living on my own.

This board has house images and well as interior design.

Most of the items I have chosen to pin are industrial looking.

Some find that industrial design is not as lovely as others, though I find it most extraordinary.

I find words most inspiring.

This board only shows words that are written most carefully.

I recently just added this to by Pinterest last week, so it is quite new.

This board I call nature, I created it only a couple days ago.

You might be able to tell because it only has 5 pins.

I find nature vary beautiful and I wanted people to see what I see in nature.

I hope everyone has a great Monday.
For those who experienced snow and cold weather in the United States, bundle up because it is a cold one.

For students who winter break is over and are now back in school, my words to you is " Have a great start back to school, and start this 2014 year off strong."

For the students that got out of there first day back to school because of the snow... you are lucky :)
